Con motivo de su retiro, la marca le ha honrrado poniendole su nombre a una versión limitada y muy especial del Gallardo, con la caracteristica especial de ser el primer Lamborghini desde que la marca fue adquirida por el grpo Volkswagen que no es tracion total, aparte solo se comercializaron 250 unidades bautizadas como Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni

Saw this beauty in the parkinglot. Owner was such a nice guy and turns out he has a few Phantoms too.
This weekend, Chicago had a chance to host the legendary Valentino Balboni, and enjoy the new LP550-2!
It started Saturday, with a caravan from Balboni’s hotel. He was greeted by not 1, but 7 Lamborghinis representing a remarkable selection of past and present Lambos, and not one the same color!
Needless to say, Valentino was VERY happy
We made some introductions, took a nice group photo, and VB signed some cars
Next, we were all off for a short cruise to Lamborghini Chicago for the LP550-2 unveiling
Once at Lambo Chi, Valentino (with the help of CarlaGio) unveiled his new LP550-2!
There was a blue one too…with e-gear
He signed some more cars and goodies for everyone
and even schooled some youngins. It was a great evening!

Sunday. We were lucky enough to have Valentino grace us with his presence for our Sunday cruise, with an LP550-2!
What can I say…
After topping off with petrol, it was time to hit the road
We took a good 1.5 hour cruise through back roads up to Wisconsin, we drove “carefully”
And enjoyed a nice breakfast at Millie’s, where they blocked off our own section in the lot
My SL insisted on a photo op with the LP550-2
Valentino had a good laugh at American Muscle
Sadly, it was time to say our goodbyes, and hit the road for the ride back
